How are you?
These are challenging times.
We all have been affected.
My 86-year-old mother 2 months ago was diagnosed with Covid-19 and was subsequently hospitalised, thankfully she is now home and recovering,
When it happened, my energies initially took a nosedive, I must have gone through every negative emotion known to a human being. But through the pain, and what appeared to be a profoundly serious situation, I ???? kept thinking, breathe, breathe, remember all that you have learnt over the years.
I prayed, but most importantly I surrendered my pain and negative thoughts. The more I practiced and used all my techniques, the better I felt. I regained balance. I am not saying, any of this made my mother survive the virus, she did, and I am more than thankful. But this heart-breaking experience somehow saved me, this lockdown has somehow, someway created a stronger me.
I feel I have faced, and may still face, stressful situations, but I have grown holistically. What I mean is that during this lockdown I have reflected and reviewed me, the whole, the body, mind, and spirit. I have been guided to read and research further holistic practices and to review existing techniques which has supported my mental, emotional, and spiritual health. I also re-evaluated my physical health.
I understand that this review is self-development, not self-criticism. No one is perfect, we are continually learning. Each and everyone of us has our own life lesson(s) to learn and absorb. Some days we may think we know it all, other days we are back to what the …K!!
The pendulum swings, the swing of life as I call it can swing up and down from one extreme to another. However, we or I control the swing, through thoughts and feelings.
If you have read one of my previous posts, our thoughts create our world, and therefore we must learn to choose them wisely, raising our awareness through learning, opening our minds, we can achieve greater, beautiful, kinder, joyous moments in our life. We become resilient, accept the swing to the left or right, but ultimately are less affected by it, and therefore it creates inner balance and peace.
Thinking love even in the most fearful and stressful times is key, love is indeed the answer to all our perceived problems. When we love we surrender to higher powers and say “I TRUST YOU, WHATEVER HAPPENS I WILL BE OK”.
Love and continued blessings.
